ATTORNEY
Andrea Harrington
Andrea Harrington graduated from the University of Wyoming College of Law in 2019 and has been in private practice since that time. For the last 4 years, Andrea’s main practice has been in real property, probate, and energy/environmental law. During law school, she was involved in the Family and Child Legal Advocacy Clinic and spent a year successfully advocating for clients and litigating various family law cases such as divorce and custody. It was during that time of advocating for individuals at the various crossroads in their lives that Andrea felt purpose in her legal profession and it is with gratitude and eagerness that she joins Core Legal and gets back into family law.
Andrea firmly believes that the law can serve as a powerful instrument for fostering justice and empowering individuals; however, it is often the case that the process feels more disheartening than empowering. Though the practice of law is by nature contentious, Andrea understands the impacts working with empathy and understanding can have for the client as well as the lawyer and Andrea is thrilled to be part of a team that shares that ethos.
In her spare time, Andrea enjoys exploring the outdoors with her husband and son. Additionally, she is an active member of her local community and believes that service and volunteerism make a community feel like home. In 2018, she was appointed by the Governor as a Commissioner for ServeWyoming and she now serves as the vice chair of the board overseeing AmeriCorps programs and volunteer opportunities throughout the state.
Andrea specializes in family law, mediation, property law, and probate and estate planning.

"Jeanne Core is an excellent attorney who knows the law and her community well. She led our family through a highly emotional, three year case involving my minor child and domestic violence. Throughout the duration of this case Jeanne did a beautiful job balancing professionalism and transparency which allowed her to educate me, so that I always felt aware and informed, while also feeling protected and safe. I was able to trust her to keep track of timelines, as well as details, along with my priorities. She held space for me to be both vulnerable and strong. Without hesitation, I give Jeanne Core my highest recommendation. We are eternally grateful to her for successfully leading us through our storm."

"I found myself and my children in a horrible situation resulting in need of a lawyer. It was an emergency that turned into a longer-term situation. Jeanne was there from the beginning; she worked harder than I could have ever hoped for. She helped change my life and the lives of my children for the better. She advocated for us when I was unable to. She gave me advice and helped keep me sane when things got so incredibly overwhelming and when I was feeling like nothing was happening in the court system. She kept me apprised of the goings on of the court or other party involved without having to track it down on my own. She is incredibly knowledgeable and if she did not have the answer she found it! We love Jeanne! 10/10 rating in my book!"
